Dr. Kirk Woelffer
Dr. Kirk Woelffer hails from Mound, Minnesota. After graduating with a degree in Biology from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, he obtained his medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. Dr. Woelffer then completed his surgical training at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri under the guidance of Dr. Allen M. Jacobs. As an American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons European Fellow, Dr. Woelffer had the opportunity to work with surgeons in Germany and Austria. Today he is proud to be the official podiatrist of the North Carolina FC professional soccer team and Company Consultant for the Carolina Ballet.
Dr. Woelffer is Board-Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rear-Foot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He holds memberships with: American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, American Podiatric Medical Association, North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Woelffer is active staff at WakeMed Hospitals, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and Blue Ridge Surgery Center.
