  12. I had an accident. A heavy shelf fell on my foot. I didn't think I broke anything so didn't bother calling the doctor (Dr. P) for an appointment until 10 days later when it seemed to get worse. I called on a Wednesday morning. The receptionist said I could come in on Friday. I told her the reason and she asked if I could come in an hour. I said yes. Perfect. All worked out for me. They took X-rays which didn't show any break but she told me to use warm compresses and a surgery shoe instead of squeezing my swollen foot into a shoe. I was pleased with everything.
