Dr. Jacob Panici is an Illinois native who chose North Carolina as his home. Dr. Panici graduated from the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Panici completed three-year foot and ankle surgical residencies at Sacred Heart Hospital and Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. He currently serves on the legislative committee and zone chair for the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Panici is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery. He has surgical privileges at WakeMed Cary, REX UNC, and Blue Ridge Surgery Center Raleigh. While treating all types of foot and ankle problems, Dr. Panici takes a particular interest in pediatric feet, bunions, diabetes, and wound care. It is the doctor’s philosophy to exhaust all conservative care before surgery and tailor surgeries to your needs and expectations.
Dr. Panici is married to his wife Kelli, and they have three children. In addition to participating in Y guides and Girl Scouts, in his spare time, he likes to read, exercise, and participate in a variety of outdoor activities.
