As a previous competitive swimmer in the south Charlotte area, Dr. Carroll spent many hours being active and cross training which would often include running and plyometric activities. Not a stranger to sprained ankle and sore feet, she quickly came to appreciate the importance of healthy, functioning feet and ankles. That is what ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in podiatric medicine and surgery.
Together with her personal experience and extensive training, Dr. Carroll’s goal is to treat each patients as if they were family. Dr. Carroll treats many ailments of the foot and ankle including, but not limited to, heel pain, sprains, tendinitis, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, arthritis and diabetic feet. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed a comprehensive three year surgical residency at Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, DE.
Dr. Carroll swims, cycles, hikes, takes trips to the beach, and explores the queen city with her husband and rescue dog.
