FASMA Podiatrists Attend 2015 APMA House of Delegates Meeting

Several FASMA doctors attended the 2015 American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. Dr. Seth A. Rubenstein (Reston Division) spoke on resolutions and propositions as a member of Board of Trustees. Dr. Michael Tritto (Rockville Division) was also in attendance, speaking as part of the Resolution Committee. Drs. Andrew Liss (Columbia/Kensington/White Oak Divisions) – member of Maryland Delegation, Priya Parthasarathy (White Oak Division) – Young Physician Liaison, Stephen Palmer (Annapolis/Clarksville Divisions), and Erika M. Schwartz (Chevy Chase/DC-K Street Divisions) were also in attendance. Congratulations to Dr. Schwartz in her new position as AMPA-PAC representative for DC!
The American Podiatric Medical Association held the annual House of Delegates meeting in Washington, DC March 20 – 23, 2015. Delegates debated and approved several Bylaws amendments and Resolutions directing strategic actions for the Association to pursue. The Delegates approved the nomination of Dr. James Christina as the next Executive Director of the APMA. The APMA Executive Board is comprised of 13 volunteer Physicians, including at-large member and FASMA partner, Seth Rubenstein, DPM.
