Dr. Priya Parthasarathy Featured in ABPM Magazine

Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic, LLC (“FASMA”) podiatrist Priya Parthasarathy, DPM, was recently featured in the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) Magazine, pictured speaking during the Young Physicians presentation at PICA. The presentation was part of the 2015 APMA Young Physicians’ Institute, held in Franklin, Tennessee, on September 25 and 26.  Dr. Parthasarathy was among young physicians chosen as ABPM Diplomates. “Their enthusiasm for the importance of board certification in medicine was palpable,” said William E. Chagares, DPM, ABPM Board of Directors.

Dr. Parthasarathy serves as the Young Physician Liaison to the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). She is currently Podiatry Section Chief at Medstar Montgomery Medical Center and the APMAPAC Coordinator for Maryland.  Dr. Parthasarathy has participated in numerous pediatric surgical mission trips to Honduras with Operation Footprint,  where she received additional training in congenital pediatric and neurological deformities, while providing much-needed care to the children of the community. She is also a speaker for the Arthritis Foundation. She is currently on staff at Medstar Montgomery Medical Center, Suburban Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital.
