Dr. David Freedman Presents at MPMA Day of Science

Dr. David Freedman (Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic’s Silver Spring Division) presented a ICD-10 seminar to a packed house of the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association (MPMA) . Participants were very anxious prior to the meeting, but after spending the day going over the vast majority of ICD-10 issues in podiatry, the audience was satisfied having attending this very informative session.  

 Dr. Freedman is Vice-President of Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic. Accompanying him at the meeting were two board members of the Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic: Dr. Enzo Leone  and Dr. Gina Saffo.

Dr. David J. Freedman, DPM, FASPS, CWS, CPC, CPMA, is board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, a Certified Wound Specialist from the American Academy of Wound Management, a Certified Professional Coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders, and a Certified Professional Medical Auditor.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine).

His residency in podiatric surgery was performed at Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton, NJ, followed by private practice. He is active in the community by supporting various organizations, such as Olney Boys and Girls Club’s various activities, and is the Administrator and Manager for the OBGC Cyclones Soccer Teams.
