Dr. Whitman is Board Certified in Foot Surgery. He enjoys working with pediatrics, occupational health, foot & ankle surgery and sports medicine.
Dr. Whitman attended the University of Delaware in undergrad and earned his doctorate degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine or PCPM).
Dr. Whitman spends most of his free time with his wife Dori and his sons Jeremy and Alex. He is an avid hockey player, skier, golfer and also coaches recreational youth soccer, baseball and hockey.

The doctor actually remembered me from my previous visit. He is very professional yet caring about my situation. I have to mention that the admin staff was awesome - I had suffered a foot injury and they got me in on very short notice - very impressive - and they were wonderful.

Dr. Whitman, is very easy to talk to, and by coincidence he is from the same county (on Long Island, NY) that I am from. He's very proficient at his job. I have been going to Ryan Foot Clinic since we moved here (Concord,NC) in 2009. My wife also goes to Ryan Foot Clinic.

Dr Whitman was very genuine, took time, and explained the situation at hand very well. I called a friend of mine that works at the South Park location, sent her pics, she told me we needed to be seen right away, we got worked in at the Blakeney office, per my request as I live in Indian Land. I can’t thank the staff enough for working is in. Had we waited until Monday, our outcome would have likely been a hospitalization. We are to return Monday 11/23 for Dr Whitman to re-evaluate after being on antibiotics for the weekend. Amy at the front office was a great face and made me feel comfortable S soon as we walked in. So thankful for Carla and Amy!

I was very impressed with the smooth flow. My appointment was at 11:00; I arrived at 10:45; I departed at 11:30. My big toenail had been removed with no pain. No delay at all.
