Dr. David Levine is a member of professional organizations, such as the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Pedorthic Footwear Association. He was the first podiatrist to serve as medical adviser to the Pedorthic Footwear Association.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
Dr. David Levine is active in the community, and has been a regular volunteer with the Frederick Community Action Agency, serving those without health insurance, for more than 20 years. He and his wife reside in Frederick, and have three children. In his free time, Dr. Levine enjoys endurance cycling and running.
In 2010, Dr. Levine opened Walkright, a shoe store specializing in comfort, which has now become Shoe Fly – Frederick.
Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, PA, 1987.
Dr. Levine completed residency, specializing in surgery, at Mission Oaks Hospital in California. He then participated in a sports medicine fellowship in Washington, DC.
Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). Dr. Levine is also Certified by the Pedorthic Footwear Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
