Dr. Alan Boehm
Dr. Alan Boehm was born in Sandpoint, Idaho. As a proud member of an American military family, he had the opportunity to live all over the country and spend four years in Japan as a child. Dr. Boehm earned his BS degree in Biology at the University of North Georgia. He then graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at Temple University Hospital.
Board-certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Boehm is also a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds memberships with: American Podiatric Medical Association, North Carolina Foot & Ankle Society, USA Triathlon and is active staff at Duke Raleigh Hospital, Rex Hospital, and Blue Ridge Surgery Center.
In his spare time, Dr. Boehm trains and competes in triathlons. He is also actively involved in the community with the Alliance Medical Ministry, Open Door Clinic, and Duke Raleigh Diabetes Center.
