Firestone has been named the 2015 recipient of the Ken Caputo Volunteer Service Award, presented by Just Tryan It, a non-profit organization supporting families fighting childhood cancer. Dr. Hetal Kathrotiya-Mago, DPM (Silver Spring Division) of Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic (FASMA) participated in the annual BAPS Washington D.C chapter Charity Health Fair on September 20, 2015 in Beltsville, MD. Over 133 physicians and medical professionals volunteered to offer personal consultations to a total of 614 participants. The participants gained insights on healthy living and awareness. The event served as a one-day resource fair for participants to access legal services, employment services, podiatry, medical and dental checkups, housing services and more – services that might normally take weeks or months to obtain.
